December 3rd!!!

*Update*
Daddy got the tubs of Christmas decorations down from the attic while home for lunch, and the boys and I got busy decorating! (This is one of my very favorite parts of Christmas!!) The boys found their 12 piece Little People nativity set and couldn't wait to get it out and start playing with it! They happily trotted off to the playroom where Caden (who sometimes seems a little on the OCD side) directed Luke in how to set it up exactly like the picture on the front of the box - it looked great! They came in and told me there weren't any shepherds (I thought they were missing, but it turns out there were none in this set). Then after playing with the pieces for a few minutes I hear two sweet angel voices singing in unison - Away in a Manger. I can tell the holidays are going to become more and more meaningful and precious as the kids get older. I am so thankful.

We are thankful!!
Caden is thankful - "I am thankful when Daddy brings me special things and I say thank you."
Luke is thankful - "I am fankful fo dos tuptates that brudder and Daddy got for us one time."
Caden is referring in part to the early birthday present Daddy brought home on Monday - Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6 foam dart guns with light beam targeting and a flip-up sight. AWESOME! He brought one for each of the boys, and one for himself :)
Luke is referring to one time a few months ago when Caden and Daddy went to the store to get a surprise for dessert and Caden chose Spider-Man cupcakes. (Anyone want to make a prediction about how many of the things Luke is thankful for will involve food?)
The Mommy is especially thankful today too - for a wonderful, compassionate, thoughtful husband who is so good to me, so good to our kids - he is such a blessing to our family! We all love him so much! We're so thankful for him!

Here are the pictures from Thanksgiving with Daddy's side of the fam! Notice the sweet dress Cici got for her before she was born, sweet bow from Aunt Tiff, and bling on her wrist from Necie! (She did have cute shoes on from our friend Miss Doris but she kicked them off pretty quick - little Cinderella!)

Our sweet girl FINALLY got to meet her Aunt Dee! As you can see, they hit it off!

Reese and Grandmother (Reese was getting very tired!)

It was good to see everyone and especially to spend time with Aunt Dee and her new dog Sassy! I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of the boys chasing Sassy - they loved her!!
We're also thankful that Grandmother and Grandpa Joe are moving to Forney - much closer, and no more 7 hour drives to East Texas! We can't wait to see their new house when we're in for Christmas!

Hope everyone's holidays are going great!
