December 16th!

Luke - "I want to be fankful fo that you wuv me."

Caden - "I'm thankful for our toys and that people buy us good stuff."

*Note to shoppers - their favorite toys are the couch pillows, the cardboard sticks on pants hangers, paper towel rolls, etc. Don't spend much buying them "good stuff"!

Mommy - I'm thankful for our friends at church - there are so many good people! I'd list out each by name and what I love about them, but I'd surely leave someone out. I'm also thankful for our friends that don't live close but that are such a joy to keep in touch with...

The Chisums - Corbin and Hannah are so sweet, Clayton is so fun and he and David enjoyed working (playing ping-pong) together while we were in Cleburne, and Holly is thoughtful and generous and so much fun to hang out with! She's a sweet mom and friend and I love that we're the half-way point between Cleburne and their family in Midland/Odessa!

The Dicksons - Jodie is my best girlfriend from college - we lived together, so we've seen each other at our best and worst - it's awesome to have a friend that knows everything about you and loves you anyway! She and I are so much alike in our parenting styles and values - we have a blast together, vent to each other, lean on each other! Justin and David enjoy fishing and hunting together, and my boys LOVE Owen!

The Halls - Laura and I and David and Jacob became fast friends in Cleburne and had our baby boys 6 months apart - Hayden and Caden were good buddies from the start, and Laura's great about keeping us in touch!

The Schells - Their sweet baby girl is precious, Ken and David grew up together. I love to hear stories about their adventures and their friendship is so special. Jami - who we're crazy about - is such a kind, good wife and mom. She's a very dedicated mom and takes great care of Sophie and Ken! I love when you think the world of someone and then they marry someone you think the world of.

The Sherrins - Lori is my best girlfriend since about 7th or 8th grade. We can talk once a year and pick things up like we talk daily. I wish we lived closer and could get together more, but I'm so thankful for the years we lived almost down the street from each other. We haven't spent a lot of time with Marc and Lori as a couple, but I know Marc is a great guy and a hard-worker and loves to have fun. They are a beautiful couple that we consider ourselves lucky to count as friends.

For each of these precious people we are so very thankful. Your friendship is truly a treasure to us and we are blessed by each of you. We hope your Christmas is wonderful and meaningful! We love you!
