Today was funny. It actually started yesterday. When I was on the computer after posting what they were thankful for, I checked email and saw I had new flair on facebook. (For those not familiar, it's little circles with pictures or words that you can choose or people can send you.) Luke walked up as I was looking at my flair and pointed at several of the pictures he was familiar with - a sun, a flower, an M&M, etc. Caden walks up and asks if this is a ball game I'm playing. I said no and started to explain, and Luke loudly exclaims, "Is this what you're thankful for? Emmy-emms?!?" I laughed and explained that no, while I am thankful for M&Ms, these are pictures of things I like.
Well today, when I asked the boys what they were thankful for, Luke pipes up - "I'm fankful for EMMY-EMMS!! OH, and chwoc-ate cake!" (He is his Mommy's boy!) Caden said he was thankful for food that makes us healthy and strong. (And he really is - he's so into what's healthy for him - He really is his Daddy's boy!) I'm thankful for laughter and how these kids bring it to our family EVERY day! They are such a blessing!
