These 2 handsome boys are playing for the Rangers this year!
Their league is for 1st through 3rd grade boys, so they get to play for the same team this year!
They like their numbers to be their ages, so this year Caden is #8 and Luke is #7!
Luke is playing catcher for the first time! In all honesty, I think he only caught 1 ball the first game, but the mask was huge and he had never worn any gear (which he calls armor) until the first game.
Now he hardly lets one by him - he's doing great!
Caden is excellent at playing short stop, and is having a blast at bat! In 3 of the 4 games, he's hit an in-the-park home-run!
At the last game, when Caden got up to bat, one of the kids on the other team said, "Watch out - this kid hits like Josh Hamilton!" It MADE Caden's night!
Here's one of Luke on first - he's had some really good hits too!
Love that stance!
Grando, Necie, Bobo, and Uncle Weston got to come to the last game, so that was extra fun!
