Easter is a really special time for our family, never more than this year. We love the focus on Christ's sacrifice for us, and we had a great celebration this year. Our sweet Luke asked several weeks ago about being baptized to show that he believes that Jesus is God's son, and that he wants to follow Him. I'm so thankful for so much.
Leading into the weekend, the boys had a party at school on Thursday! (This is Luke and his best buddy Talon.)
These are the bunny cookies I made for the boys' classes - I was pumped they turned out!
Later in the weekend, we went to Grando and Necie's house and made s'mores with Peeps!
We tried a Peep in the microwave...not so good!
But these - these were awesome!
We also did some egg dying!
We know that bunnies, Peeps, and eggs are nothing to celebrate. Jesus is absolutely the reason we celebrate and find joy in everything, every day.
