Playing Hospital

This weekend, the boys built an "invention" out of a bunch of junk David found when he pulled up all the bushes in the front of the house that cratered this year.  It ended up being an ambulance of sorts which they used to carry Reese's friends to the "hospital" for various ailments.

They posted signs throughout the house to show the way to the hospital...

Some of the friends didn't make it and I'm sad to report there were some funerals performed as well.
(Crazy kids)

During this fabulous playtime when (miraculously) all 3 kids were having a ball together, there was a thud and Caden came in to tell us that Luke's foot was bleeding.  For some reason, he was playing in the shower; he slipped and sliced the top of his foot on a sharp strip of edging at the bottom of the shower door (ouch!).  He wasn't upset about it at all until David said he thought we needed to take him in for stitches :(  Since it hasn't been a month since we paid off the great marble incident and we seem to be getting better at handling things ourselves, we decided to try Super Glue.  We have friends who have used it instead of stitches, and low and behold -
It's looking much better!
(excuse the sorry iphone photo)

We like playing hospital much better than going there.

Oh isn't super glue great! So much easier than stitches. I sure wish they had it when I was a kid. I'm so glad they didn't have to visit the real hospital again. Looks like everyone had a fun time (except for those buried of course) lol.
