Spring Break Fun

Spring Break flew by this year, but here are some highlights of our week!

We started our celebration of Spring with some Oreos and milk on Friday night!

(You've got a little bit on your face right there!)

We also did a little shopping - luckily there were pillows at the store where Reese decided she needed to take a short nap...

On Saturday I taught the kids how to stand on their heads against the wall - Reese has done it daily since then! She loves it!!

This was the best pic I got of Caden - he only did it for a few seconds and wasn't really impressed! ;)

There was lots of "flower" picking

She tried to save as many as she could before they got mowed over! :)

For weeds, they were pretty!

Later in the week we headed to Cici and Bode's house!

Reese loved this little turtle and named it Lilly.

Each of the boys had golf time with their Daddy and Bode!

While one golfed, Cici and I enjoyed some time with the other - Luke wanted to play tennis - he's getting really good!

On Friday, we got to go to Mesquite and visit with Grandma and Grandpa, and Grandmother and Grandpa Joe. It was so good to see everyone, even though the visit was a short one. Grandma had a flower arranging project for Reese that she LOVED!

Friday night, David and I got to have a DATE!!  (Thanks Cici and Bode!!)  We ate at P.F.Chang's, then went to Bonnie Ruth's Bistro for dessert.  We had never been there before, and it was a beautiful restaurant with great music playing (lots of Louis Armstrong), candles and chandeliers all over, and some killer cakes.  We will definitely go back!

On our way back home, we stopped in Cleburne to see our sweet friends and take a baby gift to Miss Ashley!  We sure miss these sweet friends and can't wait to meet her Addilyn Grace!

We stopped at Braum's for some ice cream as our last official Spring Break event.

It was a great week with the family and I hated to see it end.  I know summer is just around the corner, and I can't wait!!  These kids are a blessing every day, and I am just so thankful for them.
