Easter 2009

Easter was a great day. The kids got Easter baskets from the so-called Easter Bunny. I say "so-called" because Caden is pretty sure there isn't an Easter Bunny - the creepy looking one at Wal-Mart pretty much freaked them out so I explained that was just someone playing dress up to be fun for other kids. His wheels started turning and one day he asked if the Easter Bunny was real. So we asked him what he thought. He said he didn't think he was. We asked how the baskets get here. He said he thinks "it may be Santa or something." Smart kid. They also received Easter baskets from Miss Kathy, Mamie and Buck, Grandmother and Grandpa Joe, and Mima and Papa. It's a shame no one loves them.

Sundays are also "Computer Day." It's their one day to play games on the computer - it works out great because they stay quiet and happy and let the Mommy and Daddy and Reese get some rest!

How's my hair?

We didn't have church on Sunday night, so we had a fabulous family day. We loaded everyone up to go on a long drive in search of bluebonnets and the perfect egg hunt spot.

The first bluebonnets we found were a pretty pitiful little patch, but we worried that's as good as it would get so we did a few pics there.

Then we found a beautiful spot

As is our tradition the boys get to chose ONE treat from their basket - here's what they chose.

Hope everyone had a great Easter!
