Caden's and Luke's first field trip of the year (Luke's first ever) was to the zoo! Don't they look great in their school shirts!? They were so excited to be going on the trip and had a wonderful time!
Grandmother and Grandpa Joe sent the boys a really cool volcano kit and volcano dvd. They watched the dvd 3 times the day they got it (hey, it was only 30 min and educational) and HAD to build the volcano and make it erupt - several times - the same day. It was "awesome!" They loved it!
Reese got to meet Madelyn, Nathan, and Aunt Lori...finally!
It was a good week overall. The boys have been fighting stomach bug stuff (or drainage issues from allergies) for almost 2 weeks. The doctor doesn't think it is bacterial or viral, so we're just waiting it out.
Reese went from sleeping great (six hours at a time at night) to sleeping ok - more like 3 or 4 hours at a time at night, with a 2 hour break for awake time around 2 am - fun stuff! We're hoping she'll get back into her previous routine soon! She'll be 3 weeks old tomorrow! Time is flying by!
David's trying to finish up papers for school that are due this month. I'm trying to get everyone well and keep up with the laundry! I'm sure next week will be better!
We're looking forward to a visit from the Schell family on Saturday! Can't wait to see our friend Sophie!
