Water Water Everywhere!!!

Let me start by saying - I KNOW that rain water in the street is dirty and has who knows how much nasty germy disgusting stuff in it. I didn't ask the boys to go play in it. It started innocently enough...

A bad storm, no electricity, the storm passed, but still no electricity. Let's go see how it looks outside! Oh, look! A RAINBOW!! Much excitement and even an impromptu hug!

It was close to bed time already and Luke already had jammies on. Caden asked to change from his TKD pants into shorts so he could scoop water into his pail from the street. It was nice and cool outside, the neighbors were out splashing in puddles, we went out and started to visit with them, I turn to check on the boys and...







I know it's disgusting. I know I shouldn't have let them. But I did. And they thought it was great. They took nice hot showers when we came in, and they didn't get sick. And they had a blast and still talk about it more than 2 weeks later.
