Stitches (Again!!)

On July 11th, we got up for a normal Sunday at church.  We took Reese to the nursery, the boys to their Sunday School class, then headed to our class.  A little bit later, someone came to get us because "one of the boys got hurt in class and probably needs a parent."  Ummm - yes, and some stitches.  Thankfully, Mr. Larry was in class with us and followed us out to check on Luke - just in case.  He took one look and said we needed to head to the ER for stitches, and he offered to drive us.  We got there quickly and he took Luke and I right in.  Ten minutes later, the stitches were done (just 2 this time) and were soon headed back to church!  Mr. Larry made the drive back to church very special for Luke, and when we arrived, there were horses in a stock trailer in the parking lot!  So we got a quick picture!

Mr. Larry and Luke

And one up close of Luke - we joked that it was too bad we weren't celebrating Halloween this week, as he could just go as Frankenstein. :)

In no time at all, he was back to his "normal" self...

which is not very normal at all...

and EXACTLY the way we like it!!

Mr. Larry took the stitches out while we were at church a week later and Luke didn't even tell me he was about to get them out until it was over.  MUCH less eventful than the last stitches removal which required a papoose!  Yay for Mr. Larry and hard heads!!
