The Herd Museum and Swimming and Marbles

In July, we headed to McKinney for some fun with Cici and Bode and a dentist appointment for Caden. We made a trip to the Herd Museum to check out the Ice Age Exhibit!  It was really cool and the boys enjoyed it (Luke was a little put off by the moving ones and how loud some of them were, but other than that, it was awesome!).

Reese was not at all bothered by these giant prehistoric moving creatures!

There was a neat sand box set up for digging for bones!

Some really large shells - perfectly sized for a tiny, wannabe mermaid!

There were also some neat animals outside...

and a butterfly habitat with beautiful flowers!

It was pretty hot outside, so we headed back in for a snack,
some visiting,

and some yoga!

Back at the house, we enjoyed some swimming and some smoothies!!

My pretty girl enjoying her popsicle!

Lunch time in the shade with Bode!

Then back inside for some fun with marbles!

Lastly, I had to include this picture.  It's from my grandparents' house.  They were BIG into garage sale-ing, so there's really no telling what this is...  If anyone has any ideas, feel free to share.  Otherwise, I think it would look lovely with a few daisies out the top and one in the pointy end! :)
