3 Things You Didn't Know About Me - Blog Hop

This week's blog hop is titled 3 things you didn't know about me, so here they are!

1-
As a college student, I worked in a pathology lab and actually held a human brain that belonged to an 88 year old man. It was one of the most interesting things - thinking of all the knowledge and memories it held.

2-
I am deaf in one ear, resulting from (they think) a virus that attacked my nerve in my inner ear when I had an ear infection about 2 years ago. I've heard nerves can repair themselves, but the ear specialist I've seen doesn't give me any hope. I'm getting more used to it all the time, but if anyone has any ideas for what else I could try, I'm totally open to suggestions!

3-
I love making bows, bow holders, tutus, feather balls, etc - anything girlie for my daughter and have considered trying the Etsy thing, but have no idea where to even start - I'd love any suggestions for that as well! Here's some of the feather balls and bow holders, and you can scroll down to last week's MckLinky post to see the little patriotic bow and tutu I made for our Reese!

See in the top right corner - super-girlie feather balls. I thought they were so fun for our whimsical nursery. You can't see the big bows that go over hooks to hang them from the ceiling.

Bow holders made to go with the little girls' rooms

I can't wait to hop to your blog and read 3 things I didn't know about you! If you're not signed up, enter your link and blog hop with us! It's fun!

The bow holders are gorgeous. I didn't know a virus could cause permanent ear damage. Here is to hoping the specialists are wrong. Miracles do happen.

I love the bow holders...so cute!

That's such an awesome thought as you held that brain! I bet it was fun working there.

Oh, how I wish my daughter were young enough for those adorable bows! She got married in January, so there's hope for a granddaughter one of these days. :)
