My birthday was the end of February. It was a good, week long celebration!
It started the Saturday before with a visit from Mom and Boyd (aka Cici and Bode). They took us out to dinner on Saturday, and surprised us with a delicious homemade lunch on Sunday!
(complete with yummy brownies and strawberries and a sparkler candle!)
They also brought these beautiful flowers that stayed pretty for 2 full weeks!
My actual birthday was on Wednesday, so we had church that night. My sweet friend Kathy surprised me with a giant cake, cupcakes, balloons, and a gift. I couldn't ask for a more thoughtful friend!

Mr Larry and Ms JoEllen gave me this gorgeous arrangement too! My very favorite - star-gazers!!
Since we couldn't go out to celebrate on Wednesday, the boys (D, C, and L) thought it would be fun to take me to Ft Worth to celebrate on Friday! What a great idea!
We started out at Babe's in Burleson (SO YUMMY!) and that is good celebrating! We ate til we were stuffed (we didn't even eat dinner that night!)
Reese liked when the waitresses did the hokey-pokey, and she loved the green beans!
Caden loved it too - he tried a biscuit dipped in sorghum and said, "NOW I remember this place!"
Isn't it funny how food helps make memories?
Luke enjoyed it too, but didn't want his picture taken.
I dropped David and the kids off at the Ft Worth Science and History Museum and went SHOPPING BY MYSELF!! WOOHOO!!!
A couple of hours later, I joined them at the museum, in time to take in a show at the planetarium!
Giant Meteorite - cool for us to check out since we've been studying astronomy.
It was a great day and I felt very celebrated!
