Last week of October!

So, a little catching up to do!

Reese got these adorable hot pink and zebra print rainboots from Mamie and Buck for her birthday. I had to exchange them for the next size up, and when it rained, she was ready! How adorable is this sweet girl!?

Miss JoEllen and Mr Larry invited us to eat at a fish fry, so we took along our "Flat Stanley" who this time, is actually a Flat Martian. (The project was suddenly ended by the lady hosting the flat stanley exchange, so I guess this will be the last of the Flat Stanley pictures.) Here's everyone at the fountain next to the civic center.

Reese in her sweet little Boo pillowcase dress made by Grandmother, bow from Miss Holly, and tights I got on clearance last year at Old Navy! She is ready for Halloween!

This is random, but I'll include it anyway - our church had an auction of homemade things to benefit the Lottie Moon Offering that supports international missionaries. I'm not especially crafty, but Denise gave me the idea, and I started with this...

...and ended with this! I was pleased with how it turned out. (And all made with stuff I had at home!)

She should be on a calendar! :)

The fabulous costume reveal!!

They went (obviously) as Tinkerbell, Peter Pan, and Captain Hook. Precious kiddos.

Grandmother made the Peter Pan costume which was by far the most impressive (we are so lucky to have a seamstress who loves to sew for her grandkids!). I made Reese's costume (minus the wings - $3 at Wal-Mart). Caden's came together with costume pieces we already had, a new hook, and a moustache that lasted through the pictures on the porch and then was history.

Tink on a juice break

Our church hosted a Fall Festival on Wednesday night - the kids had fun and came home with 6 pounds of candy! (Which we happily donated most of to Candy for Kicks at Team Chip - we got 5 free weeks of TKD lessons, we aren't 6 pounds heavier, the candy is going to our soldiers in Iraq! Win-Win-Win!)

Reese enjoying her FIRST Reese's Peanut Butter Cup! She loved it! (And she loved this clown- Mr Larry!)

Reese and her Daddy (who she alternately calls "Dada", "Dadin", and "Mum"!) I love this picture.

On Friday, Oct 30, we took the kids to Prime Time for a special treat! Here they are all ready to go, decked out in the Halloween shirts! Cici and Bode sent the boys these super cool glow in the dark shirts, and the "sweet" candy corn shirt for Reese (Who coincidentally got an identical one from Aunt Lori and Uncle Robert and Madelyn and Nathan for her birthday, along with these adorable jeans!)

Caden's favorite game at Prime Time is "Deal or No Deal" and he's really good at it. Here are his tickets coming out of the machine - he's not in the pic because he ran off to find his brother and gloat about how many tickets he had just acquired!.

Now he's back, and so proud!

Reese carried around an invalid swipe card that we found on the ground. She was so happy with it!

More Air Hockey (I love this pose)

Halloween morning brought Grando and Necie and the final Tasmanian Devils Soccer game of the fall '09 season!
Here's the handsome coach and his firstborn with a "giant" trophy because he worked so hard! :)

Last team huddle

Following the coach to high-five the other team - they finished the season 7 - 1. They were proud. Us too. It was a good introduction for us into the world of team sports. We'll be back.

Necie, Reese, and Grando in their sunglasses. (I'm thrilled Reese has decided these are an acceptable accessory! I love these that Aunt Dee got her!)

These aren't quite as cute, but as a freebie from the Fall Festival we won't complain!! I wish this sweet baby was ever happy! ha!

I was so glad I got the pictures of the kids before the Fall Festival, since Halloween night, the boys decided to be Buzz Lightyear and the Red Power Ranger instead. We Trick-or-Treated a little bit then came home and crashed, so thankful for the extra hour of sleep! Hope your Halloween was wonderful!
