Summer Fun

Our summer started at Cici and Bode's house. David had 2 weeks of doctoral classes in the metroplex, and they were kind enough to let us stay with them during that time! We had so much fun doing all kinds of things! Here are some of the highlights!

We went to the Allen outlet mall to get Luke some new tennis shoes. In the bathroom, the boys had fun turning on the motion-sensored hand dryers - they were pretty powerful, actually blowing their skin around on their hands.

If only this is all it took to make everyone REALLY happy!


We spent a very enjoyable afternoon at Planet Pizza - we can't wait to go back!

We went to "The Beach" in McKinney - very cool! A pool that's made to be like the beach - gradual slope into the water and surrounded by sand for digging and building. The boys absolutely LOVED it!



Never good when the fun is over...

A giant thunderstorm downpoured on us and we had to leave the beach. Luke was very sad.

We had a great time at Cici and Bode's house and so appreciate their hospitality - it was a great way to start the summer!
