Early June

We went to Oklahoma for Mee-Maw and Paw-Paw's 50th anniversary at the beginning of June. We had SO MUCH FUN! What you can't see in the 2nd picture are the recliners and recliner boxes in the front yard. They got new recliners for their anniversary, so the old ones went out in the yard(temporarily), which is where everyone ended up hanging out for a while! One of the boxes made a great house for the boys to play in once a door was cut out! They loved it and had a great time! Happy Anniversary Mee-Maw and Paw-Paw! We loved being with you to help you celebrate! Before we made it to Oklahoma, the boys rode around with Grando on the Harley - even Luke loved it this time!

Sitting on the front porch with Necie and Paw-Paw

Paw-Paw fixed Luke's hair-cut while we were there - hooray!

We all had fun feeding the cows!

We ended our trip with some rock throwing out on Paw-Paw's farm with Mee-Maw and our cousin Brandon.

The boys started "school" this month!! A church close to our house has a Mother's Day out on Thursdays for 5 hours. The boys love it, and their Mommy does too! Here are a couple of Before pictures on their first day of school!

Luke's After picture - apparently he didn't want to slow down to put his shoe back on...I'd show you an After picture of Caden, but he was crying - he did NOT want to leave!

Sweet Luke

Another trip to the State Park for some fishing and relaxation

We caught some "wobbers"

Happy Father's Day to the best Daddy EVER!

The boys drank LOTS of Gatorade, then took care of business (they LOVE going outside!)

One sad boy, not ready to go home

An exhausting day!

Our sweet Amie came to visit us in Abilene. We ended up heading back to Cleburne to spend the night at her house the next day. Our precious Gran-Gran (Stanley) passed away and we went to be with family and attend the services held in his honor. Amie was an incredible friend during this time, helping with the boys so that we didn't have to bring them to the services. It was so good to see Amie and get to spend some time with her - probably our last fling before she gets married!
Here they are in Abilene, waiting for the ice-cream truck that never came down our street

Hanging out with "My Amie"

Mr Randy makes the best chocolate milkshakes ever!

Caden really enjoyed playing Deal or No Deal

Some of the cousins after the funeral - it was a beautiful tribute to a life that was very well lived.

Cici and Bode came to spend a couple of days - we were so excited for them to get here!
Cici gets bear hunting advice from Caden

We got to play at Chick-Fil-A and the park with our friend Cole - we had lots of fun!

Cole is a great climber!

"I can see the fairy dogs from up here!"

"I'm the grumpy old troll who lives under the bridge!"

Luke really got into the Candy Land game

Time for Hide'n'Seek
Anyone seen Luke?

Found you, Cici!

Parting is such sweet sorrow - Luke was not happy when it was time for Cici and Bode to leave. We had a great time with them!

The boys are looking forward to more "school", VBS (or Bible Vacation School, as Caden calls it), and a trip to Cleburne for Amie's wedding in early July!
